This text is for introducing a study abroad program in Berlin on an agent's website. Berlin is where people of various nationalities coexist, making it difficult to say that it is one of the "German" cities. Each individual had different future dreams as they decided to study in Berlin. However, they came to Berlin with joyous excitement and for personal development. After arriving in Berlin with such a swollen dream and going on to study, have they changed their minds? Will it still be the same as before coming to Berlin? In this regard, I started working on 'The Shining Life.' Do you regret studying in Germany? Wouldn't you come to Germany if you could return to a previous time? I surveyed 78 students from non-EU countries studying in Berlin about their emotional changes before and after Berlin. There was a comment after the survey that they were also disappointed with what they expected, but also, people learned a lot from something they couldn't think of. Some are stable despite many emotions and confusion; others eventually fail to adapt and return to their home countries. Others graduate quickly and think of returning to their home countries rapidly. No matter what decision you make, no one can evaluate it. But let's double up our fists and live hard.

한 유학원 사이트에서 베를린 유학 프로그램을 소개하는 텍스트이다. 베를린은 독일의 도시라고 하기 어려울 만큼 다양한 국적의 사람들이 공존하는 곳이다. 개개인마다 베를린에 유학을 결정하면서 꿈꿔온 미래 또한 달랐을 것이다. 그러나 그 꿈의 공통점은 긍정적인 설렘과 성공적인 개인의 발전을 위해서였을 것이다. 그렇게 부푼 꿈을 안고 베를린에 도착하여 실제로 학업을 진행하고 난 후 그들의 생각은 얼마나 달라졌을까? 여전히 베를린에 오기 전과 같을까? 이에 관련하여 ‘The Shining Life’ 작업을 시작하였다. 독일에 유학을 후회하시나요? 이전의 시간으로 돌아갈 수 있다면 독일에는 오지 않으실 건가요? 나는 베를린에서 공부하고 있는 EU 외 국가에서 온 학생 78명을 대상으로 베를린 전, 후의 감정 변화에 대한 설문조사를 하였다. 또한 설문조사 후에는 기대했던 것에 실망한 것도 있었지만, 생각하지 못했던 부분에서 많은 것을 배웠다는 코멘트가 많았다. 많은 감정과 혼란의 시기를 지나 안정을 갖는 사람도, 결국 적응하지 못하여 고향으로 돌아가는 사람도, 그저 빨리 졸업하고 고국으로 돌아갈 생각을 하는 사람들도 있다. 당신이 어떤 결정을 하든 누구든 그 결정에 대하여 평가할 수 없다. 그러나 이왕 온 거, 주먹을 쥐고 열심히 살아보자.
